James, Eddy, Andrew & all,
today's likely plunge in techstocks may be an exceptional opportunity to load up * CHEAP * on metrology toolset providers. Thank You James for digging up that list. I did my homework and calculated some ratios (PSR = Price to Sales and PE = Price / Earnings). In my calculations I took the LAST quarter of sales as calculation base and multiplied by 4 in order to get more current, "implicit" annual data because I thought this is a NON-seasonal business (unlike retailing, where You got the yearend / X-mas sales season).

Revenues (Mio.), Company, Ticker, PSR-Ratio, PE-Ratio
$1031, KLA-Tencor, KLAC, 2.97, 13,5
$ 341, Bio-Rad, BIOA, 0.74, 19
$123, Keithley, KEI, 0,33, 15
$36, Nanometrics, NANO, 1.9, 13,5

See this ??
Keithley, Bio-Rad are Screaming Buys (PSR < 1) !!

Does anybody know how big is the electronics/metrology part of Keithley and BioRad as a percentage of its total business ??

best wishes
CROSSY
