I learned that there were 3 arch-angels and Lucifer was the highest of the three. Each had authority over 1/3rd of the rest of the angels. When Lucifer was cast out his angels also suffered his fate because they were his angels. No other reason. I think God works that way. The same way that we belong to Jesus, we have been chosen regardless of our condition. Thank God for that mercy He has shown to us.
