ATTENTION !!!!! THE TRUE STORY ABOUT INTEL:

... Dow Jones Online News, Wednesday, March 04, 1998 at 20:51 ...

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -(Dow Jones)- Intel Corp. late Wednesday warned
that its first-quarter earnings will fall short of Wall Street
estimates, with revenue slipping 10% from the fourth quarter's $6.5
billion, because of weak demand for its microprocessors from computer
makers.

BUT !!!!! ::: (in the same article)

... "According to Cowen & Co. analyst Drew Peck, "Unit demand for
PCs is OK, but one would expect it to be much stronger given the price
declines," he said. "Prices are going down but unit sales aren't going
up enough to offset" the impact " ...

??? Why INTEL will down CPQ ???

1. IT IS INTEL's MATTER ONLY ! - "Unit demand for PCs is OK"

2. FYI: CPQ using many K-6 (not Pentium II) in sub-1000 computers.

3. INTEL REACT FOR THIS CPQ STEP: (see the same article)

.... "Earlier Wednesday, Intel said it will unveil next month and begin shipping this summer a chip tailored for sub-$1,000 personal
computers. Dubbed Celeron, Intel decribes it as designed for
"Basic PCs." Celeron is based on the same designs as the Pentium II microprocessor." ...

4. WE WILL SEE CPQ HOLD $28 - $30 next few days (while panic and loading big lots :) ) and back to mid $30 after

5. Dont buy on $30+ we will see buy at $28.5 - $29 next 1-2 days

6. Dont sell if you have it !!! Any neutral news from CPQ will
get stock up up up

Since INTEL has 90% of the world CPU market, this BTO model hurts INTEL the most !!!
