Thanks for the response. It is interesting, but I refuse to take valuations seriously. There are no estimates of timing, and those are crucial in determining net present value: do you discount for five years or fifty five.

I liked their argument that generation of hydrogen could create a 'put price' for electricity that was being generated, but which couldn't be sold even at normal off-peak prices. I'm not sure that I accept it though. Nuclear energy is a small fraction of European power production, and hydro and wind are almost negligible. Most of the rationale for off-peak comes from using the discounting the cost of using the capital equipment in boring old coal-burning stations. These are rapidly being replaced by gas-powered stations that can respond quickly and efficiently to fluctuations in demand. Finally, they will not be able to avail themselves of this super-low cost electrical power above or near the arctic circle.

In the blurb on steel making there are many references to the EU. Did they get grants from the EU for research?

Ps. I see from your profile that you are interested in a developer of
batteries. Take a look at ERC. They've made deals with Corning and with China. They are receiving money for their battery technology.

This is a fascinating company, but their website is a little offputting. Their site devotes a lot of time and energy to touting their stock. This is kind of unusual in my experience and has the effect of making me suspicious of their bona fides.
