That would still make Intel's earnings AT LEAST $0.66 GREATER than AMD's earnings for this quarter.

I heard a rumor that you heard a rumor about improving yields at MegaFlop 25.

Are they above 80% yet?

We all have predicted for the longest time that Intel's profit margin will decline due to the massive price cut on the Pentium and the low margin on the PII. The day has finally come for INTC. Killing AMD doesn't come for free! INTC may have thwarted AMD for growth but it did cost them a leg, a 6% dropped in profit and 10% in loss revenue.

For INTC to regain their glory day there is only ONE SOLUTION. They must improve their yield to 125%! That extra 25% on yield above 100% is PURE PROFIT.
