The key is that it is too soon to tell if they will succeed. Of course the potential makes it worth trying but this round could be sidetracked yet again by traffic issues. Even if it goes ahead it will be a low end market and there will be plenty of room for BT.

The fact that LU phrased the release as they did makes it clear that they believe in the "all in one phone line" angle.

DR looks a very good investment here with the rest of the market in turmoil. I could not believe that MU went up today. Amazing. What are these investors thinking? With motorola joining in the fray it seems to me that a lot of money out there needs to change course. With the coming earning reports showing a BT base it seems that we are in line to profit.

Did you catch Andy Grove on Charlie Rose? When asked his biggest fear he did not mention Asia but rather stated that it is the possibility that higher performance chips may come too early for the market. I do think that graphic chip companies are at high risk here. Not only are they at risk because of Asia but they are a natural target for intel in order to lower its own future risk.

I do not know it looks bleak out there. Not race though :)
