Tech Master's Buy Du Jour: MSFT

All,

My Crystal Ball says buy Microsoft (MSFT) at 80 or lower...

It will be good for 5 points over the near term...

I hate when that happens...

aV, the only reason there is such a reaction to INTC news...

is there has been a very good run from Feb 1 to now in the tech stocks, and everyone (money mangers) wants to protect profits with the end of the quarter coming up. Individuals don't want to be the last ones out the door, so they hit the exits just as hard as the funds.

Summation: herd mentality. You either run with the herd, or get run over by it. The truth is, this will end up being but a blip on the screen in a few weeks, as the herd changes course on a dime back to the general UP direction. Not much point in being fed up with what makes the Street tick, it's simply the major ground rule for the game. Two emotions rule the Street: FEAR and GREED. This morning, FEAR took the reigns, and the smart money will be taking full advantage to go on a nice fire sale shopping spree. Fundamentals are good, the Intel news is OLD news, and the direction is UP.

Live long and prosper.

Gone Shopping. Back at 1 pm.

Went shopping and picked up some ASYT at 23 1/2. It hit my target low of 22 on the open and has rebounded back close to yesterday's close:

I love bargain days.
