Howard...

Thanks for jumping in here. I'm perfectly capable of having a mental block in these kinds of things. I don't do well with written instructions if they don't perform as expected on the first or second attempt.

Of course, I've seen the Demo data files, exactly where you said they were. I attempted to use them, but immediately saw that they were not writing to C:\INCOMING\DATA as the material said they would. They also were not showing up as "zip" files. To be honest, I only tried a couple of them and quit. This evening, when I have more time, I'll go back and give this another shot.

I don't understand about configuring my browser...have to readily admit that. I'm using Netscape vers 4.04 (the latest, as I understand it from Netscape). I've been able to view a few charts, just can't seem to update them.

However, I'm fairly sold on this idea and have to believe it's at least 1/2 my fault that this isn't working. I take no blame for the fact that those bozos include a defunct telephone number in the demo. To my mind, that's just sloppiness on their part and inexcuseable. The area code isn't even correct!

In spite of it all....I'm not quitting! Ken
