Cory, you mean ad hominem the word, or ad hominem the argumentative technique? If the latter, want to point to an example? If the former, what exactly are you doing here?

Cheers, Dan

This is an investor forum

Yea, right, an investors forum
Subject 18974

If you want to rub in your drug dealing profits, why not go to "How high can Darth fly" thread? This is for browser talk in case you can't read.

The similarities between MS and drug dealers are:

1. Money is more important than anything. Doing what is best for the industry is irrevilent. If you kill people, destroy companies and family lives to maintain your monopoly (street corner) so be it.

2. The power a monopolist has is the same power a drug dealer has.

3. Knows nothing about chemistry (software) or how to build a quality product.

Or we can compare MS with Nazi Germany

1. Kills people to protect monopoly (government)

2. Buying up (stealing) world art work.

3. Pouring billions into gene cloning. Probably running experiments on twins.

I'm sorry Cory, I don't share you opinion.
Dan has made enormous contributions on this thread
since he joined ...

I myself learned a lot from Dan, Gerry Lampton, Bill Harmond, Sal,
Bill F, Thomas Reardon, Jim Ash, Justin and "yes" even Reggie ...
(sorry, I can't mention everyone, I've been away)

This thread is actually the most intellectual forum I have been
involved in w/r/t SI. (of course I like it a lot more back when
Reardon (from MSFT), Jim Ash (from NSCP) and Nick made contributions.

I tried writing Reardon a personal msg. to tell him the few bugs I found in IE4 but, I couldn't get through????

Good Luck to you ...

BTW, need a calculator for counting your $ ?
