Mohan - Re: "Kumar..Anyway he hasn't said anything new as far as I am
concerned,you??"

Did he offer an explanation for about 3 million Pentiums mot being sold this quarter?

Kumar has made some very good calls lately - since last October.

He has recently stated that AMD's yields have "picked up" but he uses terminology that I read om the AMD thread about a week or more ago.

I sure hope he isn't using SI for his sources of information!

Paul

RE: 1)Aisa Pacific growth for Intel still at a healthy 10% (no Asian flu)
2)Europe is smoking
3)USA healthy
4)only drag coming from Japan.
5)He thinks healthy European growth coupled with North America should make up for
any slow down in Q1 and Intel should be back to normal by middle of the year.
6)Recommends Intel as a core holding for any serious investors.
___
Well if all is true and Dell just beat earnings and has Intel inside every machine then WHY DID INTEL JUST PREANNOUNCE ?
This does not make sense and I now wonder about all the recent insider selling ?
