I too assumed that Jhild was a woman, not because of the content of the posts, but strictly because of the use of the "genderless" handle. If I find out that Jhild isn't female (of no importance to me) I still would address this person as I have in previous encounters. I think you're "reaching" if you're assuming that there is an "attitude" Duncan assumes if the poster is female, heretofore, Duncan has appeared to be an equal opportunity basher.....

Actually I have never made any connection between sex and intelligence. What do you know? I'm not a big believer in phrenology either.

I merely surmised that jhild was a woman from this:
exchange2000.com

I think most would agree that that sounds more like a woman than a man talking. Few men I know are actively involved in their children's school activities. I assume we all applaud women for their efforts and hope men should do better.

Funny though, you have stated that I have been most severe in my responses to Surething but I have always referred to ST as "he" or "him" when using pronouns. That does not seem to advance your "theory".

Anyway, thanks for your tacit agreement with the thrust of my post.
(For the next thirty seconds anyway).
