You forgot to put in the best part:

"We have made these revisions principally in response to the Securities and Exchange Commission's review of our Form 10-Q filings since the time of the merger," said Chris Paisley, 3Com's senior vice president and chief financial officer. "The company will be revising its Form 10-Q filings for the first and second quarters of fiscal 1998 as soon as practicable."

A few lawsuits and the SEC got COMS attention. I want to publicly thank Herb Greenberg and Floyd Norris for pointing out inconsistencies in COMS accounting a while back when everyone was bullish. Both of you guys made me some good money. Everyone should know that Mr. Greenberg had some interesting things to say recently about AOL's accounting too.

That's one reason I'm short AOL. Too bad the stupid analysts and rampant bulls on Wall St. scared me out of shorting COMS yesterday.
