There are fundamentals and there is psychology in setting the price of a stock or group of stocks. I recall that IBM also said something uninspiring a while ago. You are not likely to have the tech sector stock pricing do well for anyone if the generals are doing poorly both fundamentally and in the market. (I agree with your fundamental observations by the way.)

Let's face it about SCI:

They are in bed with the big boys. Olin King and Co. have the relationships it takes to succeed in the ECM business. Although ASPs are declining, as previously noted umpteen times, SCI is still cranking out the boxes for these folks. In Lehman's report, they note that the new business will probably outweigh the short-term top-line concerns.

I repeat, the good thing about Lehman's research is the "NONE" in the Disclosure requirement.

I'm buying more tomorrow (and I don't care if it goes down 5 more points - I'll find some more cash somewhere to keep buying).

Cheers.

Paul, on PGTZ, Rich's description of their past problems sound like ACTM. How confident are you in this mgmt? I am a bit concerned about going on the acquisition trail before becoming solidly profitable. Acquisitions always represent integration problems, even if you paid a good price - which we do not know about this latest one. Are you more inclined or less inclined to increase your position now?
