I've been posting to a slender threat called HEDGES. One way to hedge your short of AMZN is to go long on BKS or BGP. AMZN is selling at a multiple of 109 times sales, whilst BKS and BGP are selling at 0.98 and 1.4 times sales, respectively. It is hard to believe that in a commodity business like books that BKS and BGP, now on the Internet in full strength, won't cut into AMZN market share. How, then, will AMZN ever start making money?
