Good Post BigKNY3. Most of the boards tend to be cheerleaders. So far 10 million shorts have been right and 30 to 50 VVUS posters wrong. I have no idea why we still have the large short interest. You would think that after a stock fell 70% from its high there wouldn't be much room left.

I think VVUS board is an exception to hype (we do have lots of cheerleaders). There have been some some good analysis done by people on this board. Also good experience from the medical and brokerage field. I believe you are now long on VVUS right?

BigK I am confused ( by yourDPGuerney post ). are you suggesting
that we follow DP and acknowledge a mistake, dump Vivus and flee.Right? If so, did you do that. If you haven't then what is the point of posting DP. You are asking me if I am still long. Yes I am, however with a smaller position, being the trader that I am. I've sold the higher priced shares I bought at ~ 12, 13 and 14 earlier on. Still holding on $10.2 priced shares . How about you: are you going with DP and if not why not?
I agree with all the previous posts that Vivus longs have posted last 2-3 days. There is nothing new.All there is is emotion and eskewed perception.People confuse Viagra with a sex pill. It isn't a true " all around ED cure " . It is an erection enhancer. You only get the 80% cure rate that PFE claims if you include normal people in it as the new and improved and expanded ( < GGG > ) ) definition of ED worked out by our good friend Golstein-ride-my-bike has proposed. ie questionnaire: " are you happy with your sex life ?" Answer ; " no."; "Then you must have ED. Here is a pill for you".
Point with Viagra is that iIf you don't have at least a semblance of an erection before the pill then you won't get one after the pill; 100% of the time you won't get one and so for that person it will be a 100% failure. MUSE instead will work more than Viagra in these patients. There is NO splitting of the ED pie as Kim suggested earlier.
None of the 100% organic ED patients with no previous erection will be shared with PFE. They will all go to Vivus and Caverject.
Unfortunately the media and people don't see and don't understand this . And so I ( and a lot of true Vivus longs ) are bidding our time. There is a time and a place for everything. Out time will come. For those that feel they have to sell Vivus to avoid further losses it is good to remember that a loss truly occurs only when you've sold the stock. I hope they will not regret their premature sale later but I am afraid they will . At these levels the stock is heavily sold out. I believe that a 100% return in 1 year is very feasible.
For those in Rio Linda, the above is just an opinion: don't peg your hat on it,
