George and Jim, Yes! That's it! The school district where I lived at the time was the pride of California, as were a few other school districts. I posted on another thread a while back, describing this then very small town to a fellow Californian as being "buccolic," a description which, along with the once greatness of its school district, no longer applies and to such extent that I feared my post may have caused my fellow California threadster to, at worst, suffer a heart attack or, at best, fall out of his chair.
