SF that's one of the interesting things isn't it? To make something attractive to consumers you have to bring the price down. Thus 700 PCs look awfully attractive. But adding a UPS is somewhat down the line of priorities I agree. I bought a UPS a couple of years after my PC. Paid 3000 for the PC and then with software, modems, sound cards, printers etc etc I was in mood for adding another $150 for a UPS to the 5000 bundle. Short sighted true but I suspect many people think the same. That's why APCC keeps up the pressure with their marketing plans. However I have noticed that the UPSes have come down a lot in price recently. So maybe they too have hit the right price point to make them attractive enough for consumers? Balk at $150 but willing to pay $80...
