There is no question that the fundamentals of AOL are not in place. Why it keeps going up? I do not know why sanity is not on Wall Street. Look at any course or textbook on finance. If AOL is as terrific as the stock indicates, why is there no Bullish thread on SI? This indicates that common sense using DD will shy away from this stock, yet common sense misses the one of the biggest gainers during the past 1 1/2 years.

I do not agree that every time the stock goes up it is attributed to shorts covering. Even in todays IBD, the story on AOL is that AOL stock bucked the trend rising 3 1/8. It has the highest Relative Strength plus Accumulation/Distribution of "A" which indicates Bullish based on IBD ratings. IBD has a lot of followers using CANSLIM method. Could that also be a contributing factor to the AOL rise over 3 points today? Plus that Wednesday's fluke of closing at 113 on PSE with puny volume giving the impression that the momentum was started yesterday and even gapping up today?

For the record I am on the side of sanity.

May the peace of the Lord be with you.
