I've got no new ideas to share---that's why I've been in the background. I do read the Thread and get a warm feeling whenever Ideas being espoused are similar to mine...Intelligent discussions here are well balanced---not too Bullish, not too Bearish---reflecting the stock's remaining in a trading range...

Because the 2 dollar spread (38 to 36) is too narrow, the traders decided to expand the range downward...

INTC's recent pronouncements hinting of slow times ahead run counter to what DELL recently said...I remember that in 1996, INTC pre-announced a number much lower than what it delivered a month later ...

TI says asia took a bite out of chip volume.....but are very optimistic about '99 and beyond.
