Um, Pat....Cisco's PBX's aren't really what NN has to worry about. PBX's are the technology behind a company's internal phone network. People talk about the voice traffic carried by PBX's being merged with the data traffic in IP-type networks, but PBX's are in no way capable of performing the duties of an ATM switch. I'm just trying to help here...

Pat:Could you kindly enlighten me regards the current solutions to the traffic jam going from IP to ATM. In particular I would like to know when and where Intelligent hardware switches are used vrs Software dependent routers. Thx.
