No, I don't win 'em all, but I happen to own almost complete winners right now:
DFNL, RNTK, TAVA, CPQ, DELL

Freeus,
I only buy stocks I expect will go up. VBG Over the four years I have been investing on my own I am batting about .500. Getting out of losers quick has kept my losses in check. I have had losses about 1/3 the size of my gains over those four years and averaged 25 to 30% net gains per year. On a couple occasions a stock I like has taken a heavy hit and I averaged down and did well when it came back. The obvious example is Dell which I bought at 100 last Oct. just before it slid to the seventies where I bought more.

freeus, I don't always expect to go ahead on other stocks. I usually work call options when a stock is undervalued. I am running around 9 wins to 1 loss. This year, no losses.

By owning Dell and Dell options longer term I do expect to win and have not been disappointed.
