I think that the Japanese are repatriating their US Bonds to support their market. This could put additional pressure on the bonds. This together with what I would expect to be a spate of preannouncements in the next few weeks could (and I say could, because the liquidity side of the equation is still tremendous)put a damper on this rally. I would guess that a top, however, will not be in place until the Put call ration declines from its current lofty levels.

SIII did a nice little move today, and I am wondering if we are now facing "consolidation" (or a bunch of mergers) in this sector. The SOX was not to spiffy in face of a very strong NAZ, and without the SOX, I do not think the NAZ is going very far. So, maybe your puts will work after all.
