Stockman re:Looks like CPQ shot themselves in the foot, with all those price cuts, and their pioneering of the sub-1000 pc. I sure hope that they haven't shot themselves in the head too. You're right. Cpq was making money in sub-$1000 a year ago because they're were no other players. Now, very little profit margin with cut-throat prices. Cpq should've been pushing the higher-margin systems which they they have neglected.
