Peter,
I am sorry for the mistaken info. I have spoken with IR person for ERHC recently on a couple of points. On a previous conversation he informed me that a press release would be forthcoming on results of 2-D seismic surveys that are currently ongoing, not exploratory drilling as I mistakenly mentioned. I have attached a paragraph from
a ERHC news release in October of last year referring to the 2-D seismic survey implementation. Also I spoke with him on Friday about upcoming news for ERHC. I asked about recent bid put out by ERHC on a project for Mexican government and when we might hear whether or not they won the bid. He could only say it is taking a little longer than originally thought but should not be too much longer before they find out the outcome. He also informed that news would be forthcoming this coming week about either an oil deal in Louisiana or production results. He and I were a little stumped as to the lack of volume and stock movementon Friday following what I thought was a very informative news release about Panama Canal deal that clearly showed ERHC is trying to enhance shareholder value. The release showed for the first time real profit numbers for ERHC. Personally I believe the reason for the lack of volume and stock movement on Friday was simply timing. Since the release came out just before bell on Thursday and Friday is a slow trading day, people I don't think have had time to digest the large amount of info contained in the release. I think after people have had the time over the weekend to make their decisions based on the info, we may see a good uptick on Monday with much higher volume. The stock did open with a bang on Friday moving up to 1.81 at one point but then got real quiet and finished unchanged. I think combined with more news this coming week and the Panama Canal news out there already we may see a lot of upward action this coming week. What do you think??

Here is the 2-D seismic info I was referring to:

"ERHC plans to implement 2-D seismic surveys as soon as possible, and probably by the end of the
fourth quarter, in order to identify stratographic formations of reservoirs and traps necessary for
commercial production. Remarked Callender, "We expect to find more extensive oil-prone source
beds that are within the 'oil generation window,' along with improved quality reservoir rock to be
present in the offshore area. We can conclude from the factors and information that we have
obtained that the conditions offshore are mostly likely to result in the presence of commercial oil
accumulations in the lower Tertiary formations."
