Can you tell me where I can learn how to use ResEdit. The only thing I know about is you can do a lot of interesting things but don't touch it if you don't know what you're doing. Ed

Bill, Thanks, but I'm trying to tell you that the programs: Apple Fax and Apple Address Book [supplied with the Performa on CD] will not work unless installed by the installer. Problem is the installer is a bulk installer for all the applications and the original system. If they are corrupted or lost, one must re-install EVERYTHING! I've tried to install them by using finder copy and hunting down prefs and extensions to no avail. Oh and Little Johnnie is just a hypothetical prankster. The one who buggered it up was me.
