Williet,
Don't and say you did. Somebody just pulled your chain big time. All this stuff has been hashed and rehashed on this public thread for several months. We are all big boys playing in a big boys game. Compaq did not advise their favorite brokers or friends ahead of time. There are large law firms that make big bucks looking for reasons like that to fill class action law suits. The law suits cost share holders money, and the lawyers put most of it in their pocket while passing very little on to share holders. The suits affect the stock price on top of every thing else. Nobody wins but the law firm. No disrespect to any lawyers on the thread.

Yes, I know a very good lawyer.

I am an attorney, albeit not a securities attorney. However, a long time friend of mine is a very, very good securities attorney and I
will speak to him about several issues this weekend or on Monday. On Monday or Tuesday, if I determine a lawsuit is warranted, I will publish an e-mail to deal with inquries from people who might be interest in a class action securties fraud lawsuit against CPQ and INTC. No, this is not sour grapes. I believe there was fraud involved and I believe it began with CPQ management
