>>>Yes, I know a very good lawyer.
I am an attorney, albeit not a securities attorney. However, a long time friend of mine is a very, very good securities attorney and I
will speak to him about several issues this weekend or on Monday. On Monday or Tuesday, if I determine a lawsuit is warranted, I will publish an e-mail to deal with inquries from people who might be interest in a class action securties fraud lawsuit against CPQ and INTC. No, this is not sour grapes. I believe there was fraud involved and I believe it began with CPQ management<<<

Can there be any doubt that you are a lawyer? Remember who benefits in these cases sportfans. Before the ink is dry on the motion this stock will be well into recovery. There is no basis for a suit. I like how you state at the start of your paragraph that you will determine whether a lawsuit is warranted and by the end of your paragraph you state that CPQ management is guilty of fraud. Yes sir, that's some fine examination of the issues. I know not about other shareholders but please do me no favors.

WHAT A SCUM BAG!!!!!

First things first. I'm not a sharholder of CPQ. A couple of weeks ago I placed a purchase order for 100 shares @ $33 (for some reason, I was determined to get in at the price that I want, don't ask me why.) Rather than watching my order fill, CPQ goes up to $36 and some change. At that point I picked up the phone and cancelled the order. Knowing fully that ones earnings announcements would near, warnings would put an end to good times (although not in my wildest imagination it would be INTC, MOT, CPQ respectively.) Looking back now, I'm exteremly pleased that I cancelled that order, however, this is in retrospect and for those that bought in the 30+ area a similar argument could have been made if the stock had shot up to $40. Don't fell bad, with a long term horizon, you will be rewarded.

As far as this lawsuit is concerned, jmac, you are pathetic. It is bad enough for those who placed money in this company to watch their investment decline, however, for you to post the above at this time is typical of your profession (I have no doubt in my mind that your a lawyer.) Have you no decency? Did your mother have any kids that survived?

Couldn't you have waited a couple of days before posting the above? And what basis do you have for your lawsuit? Didn't the CFO a couple of days ago practically anounce to the world that price pressures have been tougher than they anticipated??????

What a slime bucket!!!!

jmac,
There is a law firm that had the suit papers already drawn up, and a stock holder waiting in the wings. The suit papers will be filed as a matter of routine business Monday morning if they didn't get it done tonight. This is their routine on high tech companies. If the stock does not drop, the suit will be withdrawn. Check the 10Ks on just about any high tech company that has had a problem. You will see the same firm suing every one of the companies. Don't waste your time and the time of your friends on this.

Besides, I don't want the two cents a share after Legal expense a success settlement would bring me five years from now. If I have a real problem, I will call a lawyer and be happy to pay the bills.

Thanks for the offer,
NW
