Re: Stock Action

There seems to be a lot of speculation that this stock will crash on
Monday. Just wanted to add my 0.02 worth.

IMO this stock is way oversold. The price has been declining because
of the overall uncertainty that has developed over the past few weeks.
That uncertainty is no longer. We now know what Compaq has been
facing this quarter and what it plans to do about it. No more rumors.
The uncertainty going forward has been lifted. The stock price will
trade on the future, not the past. I think everyone and their uncle
would love to have a chance to buy CPQ in the low 20's. So who is
going to sell to them? Compaq is not going out of business. This
company will be around a long time, growing to be bigger than IBM.

They are cautious going forward for quarter 2, so this will depress the stock. But the past is past and seems to already be in the price.

Regards,

Dave

Night... OT, OT...

"I'm Fred Sherman..."

I heard his commentary on after hours trading too...

Philly boy,
Dan

p.s. I own CPQ also and higher than it is now, but I agree with your strategy and am confident in adding and holding.
