Any weakness on Monday will be short lived and then a rebound up to ~73, near term. Did CSCO drop when the other networkers were struggling such as ASND or FORE or COMS...nope! The same applies here. DELL is the top in its industry, like MSFT and CSCO and MRK, etc. DELL will benefit when the other PC makers are down because they are picking up the orders. The PC business is booming, sales are at record levels and DELL is the primary provider to business and government who buy high end product. Count on continued strength after the market shakes off this CPQ weakness. Think of CSCO and MSFT; DELL is in the same league

I've been long on Dell and I've been short... I've made more money going long, but I'm not foolish enough to be "in love" with any stock... even Big Blue had a very fallow period several years ago before it regained momentum... Sensing the inevitable shift in investor sentiment will help some folks save their treasure, but it won't help those Dell Bulls who have thrown caution to the wind...The Asian situation has yet to play out and when it finally does, all those tech concerns with Asian exposure will get whacked hard...it is coming...

MW,

I wish I could 'buy' some, but I'm 100% there now, and there ain't no more! (Now hows that for 'belief') I'll bet the bears got to be hoping for a downturn, so they can tell me 'I told you so'. I moved all my MSFT, CPQ, GTW, and RMBS into DELL for this split run-up, and IT WILL OCCUR! (How high and how long - still an unknown!)

I'll get my 'lick' in first - 'SCREW YOU!' - There! I think that the market will drop a 'tick or two' but with the 'price right', there will be a whole new 'slew' of 'little' investors that 'can afford' that first 'full lot' purchase.

Mikey hasn't said anything, 'cept "on target"! In the near term, I still think DELL will hit ~80-85 before it retraces with those locking in profits! The slide might get to ~72-75, but with DELL, don't count on it.

As for the anal-zits, "there always right, whatever happens!" - Ever notice that? "The market 'may' go (down/up)!" When the market does 'whatever it does', it is either "I told you", or "This is just a temporary trend!" Oh, well, everybody needs a 'job', I just don't have to 'pay them'!

Looking for Monday!

Regards,

Ken
