Henry, thanks for the update. A few questions:

(1) When was this meeting exactly?

(2) Is it G-CSF (cf. Neupogen) instead of GM-CSF (cf. Leukine) for sure?

(3) If the mechanism of the small molecule is NOT thru JAK/STAT, how likely it is that what is learned here may be extrapolated to other systems? ( I do not mean "eventually" -g-)

(4) How small is this "small" molecule? Molecular weight? Where did it come from? Someone's library, combinatorial or otherwise?

I do not think it will take the Street long to figure this out; however, they may ask, rightly, "show me the clinicals" or how soon before one can take this small molecule or derivative thereof to clinical trials?

PB

"Scientists and big Pharmas know that this is big time news. It will be interesting to see how long it takes for the street to figure it out."

Henry, do you know if anyone from the street was at Lake Tahoe? Is there someone among those on the street that know LGND who is likely to pick up on these developments? Would want to monitor the most likely candidates more closely than normal next week to see what happens.

Regards and good night to all.
