You got it backward: DSC is plunging off a cliff of worry. The company is very consistent in its ability to disappoint. From October 1996 to now the company has simply not done for shareholders what it has promised. Now, here they go again: practically every day they float another press release of inconsequential value. In my experience, whenever DSC offers up these insubstantial news bits, it is a warning signal: the company is trying to distract investors' attention from its poor results and from more poor results to come. 25, you say? Why, sure! The company may very well hit 25 this year. So far, though, you would have been better off SELLING the shares when they hit 25 or so over the last few years. Do the financials look great? Why, sure! The financials look just fine. But looky here, they done diluted the value of my shares last year, without asking me if I wanted my shares diluted, when they bought Celcore. Forget about it! If they think I'm bringing any more money to their table, they're nuts! I do not feel fairly treated. And I'm not alone, either. Look at the block activity in the shares over the last week or so. Of course, some of that is no doubt related to the already infamous software glitch. Seems to me I recall other infamous software glitches, for example the one that shut down the New York metropolitan area airports, all at the same time, a few years back. These guys are sometimes good technically, but boy does management know how to disappoint. I RECOMMEND MR. DONALD'S COMPENSATION BE TIED TO THE SHARES PERFORMANCE. IF WE HAD HIS $9 MILLION, I THINK IT WAS LAST YEAR, AND DIVIDED IT UP BY THE SHARES OUTSTANDING, WE SHAREHOLDERS WOULD HAVE HAD A BETTER YEAR. HE HAS NOT DONE HIS JOB. IF HE IS NOT WILLING TO PERFORM, AND TO BASE HIS PAY ON HIS AND THE COMPANY'S BOTTOM LINE RESULTS, THEN GET RID OF HIM. I MEAN IT: GET RID OF HIM. GET A CHAINSAW AL IN THERE TO MAKE ME SOME MONEY. 25. Hmmm. Sure. But you know what? I would not be at all surprised if we see 15 first. Ha!
