Charles, I would like to chime in with Elk and say I also can appreciate VocalTec's place in the industry; their international associations speak for themselves. The point that I was originally trying to make is, they command a great deal of attention in the IP Telephony market; heck they started it, and for them to talk about their toll quality product and then demo a product that is clearly not toll quality, everyone figures that the technology isn't there yet and at best IP Telephony is no more than a toy. If they have a toll quality product, let them put it on the table so people can hear it. If they don't, then they ought to say so. I was embarrassed for the guy that was doing VocalTec's presentation at the show because what he was saying about the voice quality of the product was clearly not demonstrated by the product. Part of what you are hearing in my comments is the frustration that I feel knowing that Franklin's technology is toll quality and not enough people know about it. All those people want; the ones that were swarming around VocelTec's booth, is the best that the industry can provide, and VocalTec is spending a whole lot of money convincing them that they are it. Unfortunately, they have done such a good job of convincing people they are the best, a good part of the market still thinks IP Telephony is a toy. No doubt this is changing and I'm banking on Franklin being one of the change agents. It is just going to take time. If you have any contacts at VocalTec, why don't you call them and tell them about the Tempest. I'm sure Frank would be willing to sell/license them a real toll quality product that is worth talking about. The day of change begins tomorrow. Bill
