Earlie, I'm not sure who it was but you are my best guess: About a couple of weeks ago someone in this thread mentioned a 'must read' book about the kind of accounting antics that you accuse IBM and others of. Can you or whoever it was that mentioned the book remind me of the title and/or author? This is something I really need to get up to date on. TIA. On another front, I left this note in the Asia Forum back in January and meant to mention it here as well but forgot. It's a free daily report/analysis on worldwide events that is email directly to you. They apparently called this asian mess way back in '96 in their predictions for '97. Anyway, there should be a link to subscribe in the January posting here: Message 3141040 Hope we can all have a little discussion of these updates from time to time. Some of them are pretty gutsy.
