10 years ago, CPQ & DELL had 1% of the market, today they own the mkt! IBM may have been the leader, but they did not have vision! In business, if overlook something, your competition will excell. Never underestimate the competition, but also realize there is a lot of room for competition in this market. The auto industry is much too big for a small company like TRMB to take it over in one year. They do not have the financial strength to have that at under a one billion market cap. If Lockheed Martin or Boeing entered this market of GPS, both TRMB and ORBI initially would have serious problems. Financial resources have a lot to do with market share strength...
