Short interests will probably not go away until March qtr results are out...they are probably betting on a bad result.

If you look at the tech market out BORL has been one of the least volatile in recent weeks. Big surprises have come from companies such as INTC and CPQ which have presumed to be stable. BORL is a relative safe haven! Unless there is significant volatility the shorts might realise they are wasting their money.
Maybe also the institutions may have to buy to recover their percentages lost due to dilution of the merger??

There is sufficient to hope for to remain long (not that we are out of the woods by any means...the Mar qtr result and MSFT J++ are storm clouds on the horizon). Loooong on BORL..
