Michelle, I realize what you post is your opinion. I make sure I point out " Opinion " only. I would just like you to tell us how you came to your opinion that Informix will not exceed what the street is looking for. With the numbers that Informix posted last quarter, you are putting yourself in I would like to say " A Group of your own " with regards to your negative thoughts on earnings. If business wasn't good, the numbers would not have exceeded the street this current quarter. From the looks of the news releases coming out, Informix has a lot of new business with a lot more to come. I'm amazed with last quarters numbers you would have a negative feeling on earnings for next quarter. With the stock trading millions of shares every day, I'm sure the people that have a positive attitude for next quarter earnings do not stand alone. The volume is not just retail trading the stock. I would like to say a good portion of the volume is institutions buying the stock because they do understand the potential business boom for the companies products. If you feel like letting us in on your thoughts, fine, if not, that's ok. Good Luck and Thank You

Michelle,

My concern is that the 4th quarter numbers included lots of extra business that
was not booked in the 2nd and 3rd quarters as customers held off on purchases. This is was mentioned several times by bobf in meetings and
conference calls. He was explicit in saying that customers were not booking orders until after the restatement.

Also, in Q1 expenses will be higher than Q4 in my opinion. There are various national sales meetings that chew up $$$ in Q1. This is true for most sales
companies. Q1 is also traditionally the slowest qtr for IFMX, and lots of
other folks.

As for the "press releases," I'm still waiting for significant new customers in
the US. Also IFMX is NOT a major player with the apps vendors. Right now
that's where the money is. The intranet/internet is a future play in terms of
large amounts of revenue. IFMX still needs to get the momemtum in the
other areas to be a major player in the net.
