lisa, << maybe I need to watch the option tapes again >>

Covered meaning I hold the stock in my portfolio. Someone wants
a put at a given spread for a fixed price. Say Cube is at 20 and
the put is 18. If the stock drops to 18 by expiration, they get
my stock and I already hold the money they bought it with. Is this
incorrect? Like I say, never touched this ball before.
Now, if your calls expire worthless aren't you out the commission.
I guess this is offset by the sell of the call. Seems like similar
risks????
