These numbers put IFMX firmly in 2nd place in market share for SAP. informix.com The above PR lists 5 contracts with SAP, Peoplesoft, and Baan aps for Q4. Note: The numbers I have seen indicate that IFMX is firmly in 2nd place on Unix versions of Baan and SAP. For NT, IFMX is probably 3rd, although this market is newer, but I expect Oracle and MSFT ahead of IFMX there. I have not seen as good a marketshare numbers on Peoplesoft, but heard rumors that they were less than happy with IFMX, and were looking to see if they could promote Sybase as their Oracle alternate (especially on Unix).
