Jay-Thanks for the story. I think its right on the money. Wall street has such a short term vision of company value. The individual investor has to be more patient and recognize value. remember last thurs? The world was comming to an end with intc preannouncement. The next day the naz was flying high. We may have a week or two of skidishness, but I feel most tech stocks have been beaten up since Oct. There have only been a popular handfull of stocks that flew high. When there is talk of a 10% correction you have to look at ones own portfolio and say "sh*t mine have been down over 10% for quite some time now. Heck CPQ was down 10% today alone!!! How many stocks do you think are down at least 40-50% off their highs in the tech sector? I could name quite a few ie. coms, asnd qntm, wdc, seg, cube, cfmt etc. Still waiting. V

Jay: That +ve clip from Barrons was interesting. I still have some concerns. a: Has the Inventory accumulation and that due to channel stuffing been cleared. I see no indications. b: The Company was on a Credit watch by S&P. Their notes got a Double (minus)B. because S&P perceived a reduction in their Profit margins going forward. Has this been cleared.? If so , has their new cash flow & profitability after the new acquisition been reassessed ?. c: What is the difference in cost and performance SCII vrs IDE for those Computers less than $1k. d: Why have so many Legal firms filed suit against Adaptec.? Normally in the case of other Companies, 1 or 2 is the norm.? I look forward to your reply. Thx.
