Ola Amigos,

Glad to see we were able to add ATPX to the Amigofolio today. As previously stated by Sergio today, ATPX is misundertsood by most investors. We feel ATPX offers a unique opportunity in this market. Target of at least $20 should be easily attainable short term.

Small float of shares, strong earnings from the combined companies (LUNN - TPG) and an excellent fundamental outlook. Timing appears about right on this one.

It appears that another Amigo trade was not posted for today. The Amigos were tied up during market hours.

PTEN ... our short term pick went against us. The Amigos sold at $10 hitting out 10% loss limit =(. It appears that drillers may get hammered in the short run as oil prices continue to fall after Saudia Arabia declined to cut oil production today. In the past, the Saudis have taken steps to prop up oil prices. This event was unseen by the Amigos ......

Amigo's, the portfolio took a couple rights to the chin today. But we are still standing very sturdy.

We are probably early in ESV and oil doesn't appear to be coming around anytime soon. Long term this one should do very nicely. To bad we got stopped out of PTEN today. But we already had ESV in the long term portfolio and didn't want another long term oil stock.
Can't win them all. Better to live to make profits another day.

Even though it appears we picked the wrong time for CHSE. The companies future out look or fundamentals have not changed.

Little disappointed with NRL, pretty safe stock. Temporary staffing s are up and earnings were good. We might have to bough out of this one a little earlier than our price target due to cash constraints

PURW, RECY, DHI, SRSL, ANTX all pretty much held tuff today.

APCO was down a little but this news release at the end of the day should propel them forward. I must admit this one even caught the
amigo's off guard. What away to be caught off guard though. Talk about a vote of confidence from the people running the company

biz.yahoo.com

Are new addition ATPX closed up 1/4 of a point getting as high as 14. It also was the third day that it had at least 3 times normal volume.
I wonder how long this one will stay at these levels?

Cary

Sergio,

In the ANTX thread there is a mention of certain warrants/units exercisable from March 24 and their cost being 0.50. Do you or any of the amigos know anything about it? I am just wondering if this is
going to bring the price down around Mar 24.

Greatly appreciate your thought on this. Here is the ANTX thread message for your reference.

Amigos:

Here are my best bets for the intermediate term...

APCO... Sells Automobile warranties... Big Allstate deal...

TAVA... Monopolistic position in Y2k Embedded Chip area...
Coca Cola deal...

EGGS... Closing all stores to concentrate on Internet
Software sales... Big savings from cutting store expenses
(payroll, rent, utilities, etc)...

RECY... Scrap metal recycler on Acquisition binge... Will
have grown from 27 million to one Billion in Revenues in
a 24 month period...

Jim

Amigos--Does anyone here have any take or thoughts on SCOC-Santa Cruz Operations? They have some significant news out today and in the past couple of weeks, but very little movement. Any idea why? Looks attractive with little downside, but want to do more analysis.
