I am assuming my source is correct - she has been pretty reliable in the past.

My guess is that the yields are so overwhelmingly improved that most analysts are discounting the information as invalid.

No, Ashok Kumar has already stated that the yields are up over 50%. My guess is that in a few days he will get confirmation of the 80% numbers.

At that point, assuming no more new earnings warnings form other tech companies (not necessarily a good assumption at this time) AMD's stock will start ratcheting upward - a point here, two points there, etc., etc.

Brian, just catching up on AMD news, I was on vacation last week. I also am skeptical of 80% and wonder if Paul is pulling a "Stockman" on us.
