I just went to Yahoo to see what was said. Some guy named "MilkenM" that no one over there seems to have any respect for posted that he heard a rumor that JBIL was going to be downgraded following the SLR downgrade....there was also some info that JBIL is talking to MS analysts at a MS conference today and tomorrow. Based on that alone, someone else said "it could mean a downgrade is coming."

True, but it could also mean good news....mere attendance at the conference doesn't mean much, IMO... Given JBIL's VERY positive presentations lately, I would be VERY surprised if they suddenly change course and start warning.....If they do, however, this baby will tank hard since management will have very little, if any, credibility left....

This MilkenM guy also posted that JBIL had fired 100-150 people in Florida and when pushed about it, the only explanation offered so far is that he saw fewer cars in the parking lot at night. Someone else posted that a friend of theirs told them that JBIL was busy working on an IBM order....

I saw nothing on Yahoo that anyone had any specific information of an impending downgrade on JBIL.....I thought about buying some March 40 puts as a hedge, but after reading the info on Yahoo have decided not to and to continue to hold for an earnings runup....
