OK- Established positions in SEG, IBM, INTC, MSFT, ORCL, and DELL.

Thanks to-- Stitch and Asia Forum for making me think, PX for a well designed and information packed web site, and many others for patience, input, and opinion. It takes me awhile but I get there.

PX,
You made me miss several hours of sleep but I believe you are right on Oracle. My decision either way it goes.

Thanks guys,

Re: Dell

Paul Zane Pilzer predicted the emergence of businesses like Dell with extraordinarily accurate foresight in his book about cornucopian economics:

God Wants You To Be Rich

He discusses the ever-increasing distribution costs as a proportion of total cost to the final consumer which results from ever-increasing manufacturing efficiency. The rewards for the current generation will go to those that address the distribution mechanism.

Wal-Mart.

Dell.

This is one of the books that has profoundly influenced my views on economics, and is written well enough for all reading levels. He illustrates all of his points with case studies. I really recommend it if you haven't already come across this material.

God bless,
PX
