Do you have the current beta?

Would you be a dear and check to see what DVD hardware is supported?
I was told to look in c:\windows\inf\dvd.inf

Win98: Everyone should see a tremendous improvement in performance for almost ALL apps.

Great! Can't wait. Do you know if this performance boost will also be be true on older 486 machines (like 66 or 100mhz) with limited (8meg) memory? Win95 was not too kind to them.

Win98 has some incredible performance improvements which makes apps launch and run much quicker. Everyone should see a tremendous improvement in performance for almost ALL apps.

Is that because the hardware requirements are higher?

That's kind of a joke, but I suppose in a way it's not.
