Well, purething, that post by Jane Hafker that you shared would probably represent a fairly polarized view of homosexuals on the more religiously-minded side of the Christian church. And of course the gay web page represents one of the more polarized ones on the other side, arguing that there is nothing that indicates that Christ was not homosexual himself.

I think we should remember, as well, that some Christians accept homosexuality as acceptable behavior, and some do not. I am curious to know whether there are ANY conservative Christians that have accepting attitudes towards homosexuals, or whether this might be one of the dividing lines between conservative Christians on one side, and moderate and liberal ones on the other side. Is it safe or appropriate to assume that all conservative Christians oppose homosexual behavior because of passages in the Bible, or are there quite a few different factors at work?

I also wonder if there are other significant groups in American society besides conservative Christians who are anti-homosexual, or whether most of the objections to them and their behavior do indeed come from more conservative Christians.
