Bernie,

>If the geezers are right, LGND will go up high enough to bring in
>all those who have been waiting to fill on a dip.

That's exactly right. Unfortunately, once all the ones who are now waiting have bought in, we'd better have some news or there won't be any new customers to keep blowing hot air into the balloon :-)

Cheers, Torben

Bernie, >> There are a number of old-timers who believe that volume follows price. << A good friend of mine fits your definition exactly. He made a small fortune on those quiet stocks. Perhaps I do too much short-term trading. In 1 to 3 week trades, low volume is death. Currently fighting off the urge to treat LGND as a trade. To satisfy that need, I've been using Internet stocks and Y2K stocks.

Today was another good day for LGND. Pushed over 16 to 16 1/2 on good volume. My trader-self whispers 'sell - the upper trading band has been hit'. My new investor-self says 'you're in it for the long term' big ride to 100+. Some time later we will know which me was correct. For now, I'm following the investor-me's advice.

Good luck,
Herbert
