Shoe: I agree with your sentiments. Indonesia is a large and fragile country.

Fortunately, it does look like the IMF (USA etc.) is truly trying to prevent a debacle. Today they made noises that a currency board might work in some respects. I guess they feel blood could spread and be economically damaging.

In any case, I'm getting old enough to appreciate gradual transitions and to hate upheavals.

No, I'm rarely naked. Long the ADR's. Just heard about TPI-NYSE, an Indonesian platics/chemical company. Any thoughts there?

Hedge for short on JF

Hi,

A much more intersting way for creating a hedge on a short
position on JF is to write naked put options on ADR like
IIT and TLK.
