You mean like FDR?. He lied the American people into war because he could not lead them into it. But that was in pursuit of foreign policy like Iran-Contra.

The Clintons and their cronies are indeed a lot different because they are proud that they have flouted the law and lied continuously to save themselves and their corruption from exposure.
