the level of awareness among developers has improved considerably, and this means that publishers in general may find it harder to sneak bad deals (from the developers perspective) past new and even experienced development teams.

Scott,

1) What is the significance of portal technology as found in prey? How does this compare to Unreal's advertised use of portal technology.

2) Are you aware of a unit of Eidos which was sold/or developers who left and are now developing a game for GT?

3) Do you believe that the acquisition of Single-Trac will eventually
help GT and do you believe that it was a sound investment?

4) Beyond the Titanic text adventure??

Thanks
David

Scott,

Sorry to detract from your company and projects with GT but do you
know whatever happened to a deal they made with Lancit Entertainment and Freddie Fish and other Humongous characters?
I have looked at Lancits financials and they seem to be in big trouble.

Also, whatever happended with the MTV project and partnership with Simon and Schuster?

What is your take on the new Lode Runner game which is under development and which had been very popular on the Apple computer in the 1980's.

Did you ever get a chance to play total annhilation? If so, how did you like it? At the end of April there will be an expansion pack added
and supposedly a whole new game type and engine for Total Annhilation 3.

Has anyone bought a copy of Duke Nukem's or Shadow Warrior's books?
Also how are the action figures selling and are they even on the market yet?

Any plans for Shadow Warrior 2?

Thanks Again
David

Scott, thanks for the reply.

>>> As I said, this affects every publisher, not just GT. I expect all publishers to adapt, though. <<<

So, in other words, GT will have lower future income because of what Gathering of Developers is doing.

Also, would you agree the GT will have lower reported earnings now that they are expensing prepaid royalties as they occur?
