Thanks, Van. Very interesting article. No mention if UltimateCom was using MMDS or WCS frequencies, or whether the service was 1-way or 2-way wireless. I'm also curious to know which wireless modems are being used and if the Company has any affiliation with BellSouth. Do you know if the service will be marketed to residences, and if so, do you plan to subscribe?

I have held CAWS for about a year and will ride it out. The company with the most bandwidth in the country is PAX. Paxson Communications. They claim to have more bandwidth than even ATT. Their new TV network is authorized one digital station for each analog station by a ruling of the FCC, thereby giving them up to 6 channels for each station, the potential is enormous. The station will be able to reach out 70 miles in each direction and have no interference from line of sight problems. They have indicated that they will be in the business of high speed data transmission, etc. Internet access? Since the stock sells for 8 1/4, without calculating it out, an investor such as myself can buy the most bandwidth for the dollar by buying PAX. Am I an owner..yes, and I will still be an owner of CAWS into the future. FWIW.
